What kind of things do you expect the most superior Microsoft accredited suppliers to offer a client in this country currently? Undoubtedly, the finest Microsoft authorised training routes, providing a selection of courses to take you into different areas of the IT industry.

Try to discuss all the different permutations with a person who has knowledge of the commercial demands for IT staff, and is able to show you the most fruitful career to suit your abilities and character.

Having selected your career path, your next search is for a suitable training program customised to your needs. Your study program should leave no room for complaints.

Kick out the typical salesman that recommends a training program without a thorough investigation so as to understand your abilities as well as level of experience. Make sure they can draw from a generous array of training from which they could solve your training issues.

With a bit of real-world experience or some accreditation, your starting-point of learning is very different to someone completely new.

For those students starting IT studies and exams as a new venture, it can be helpful to ease in gradually, kicking off with a user-skills course first. Usually this is packaged with any study program.

A subtle way that colleges make more money is by adding exam fees upfront to the cost of a course and offering an exam guarantee. This sounds impressive, till you look at the facts:

You’ll be charged for it one way or another. You can be assured it’s not a freebie – it’s just been rolled into the price of the whole package.

People who enter their exams one by one, funding them one at a time are much more likely to pass. They’re thoughtful of the cost and take the necessary steps to ensure they are ready.

Isn’t it outrageous to have to pay a training company in advance for exams? Go for the best offer at the appropriate time, instead of paying any mark-up – and do it in a local testing centre – instead of miles away at the college’s beck and call.

Big margins are netted by some training companies that get money upfront for exam fees. A number of students don’t take them for various reasons but the company keeps the money. Astoundingly enough, providers exist that depend on students not taking their exams – as that’s very profitable for them.

Additionally, ‘Exam Guarantees’ often aren’t worth the paper they’re written on. Many training companies will not pay for re-takes until you’ve completely satisfied them that you’re ready this time.

On average, exams cost about 112 pounds in the last 12 months through Prometric or VUE centres around the United Kingdom. So why pay hundreds or thousands of pounds extra to get ‘an Exam Guarantee’, when common sense dictates that what’s really needed is study, commitment and preparing with good quality mock and practice exams.

Only consider training paths that’ll move onto commercially acknowledged exams. There’s a plethora of trainers pushing minor ‘in-house’ certificates which are worthless when it comes to finding a job.

All the major IT organisations like Microsoft, Adobe, CompTIA or Cisco each have widely recognised proficiency programmes. These heavyweights can make sure you stand out at interview.

Frequently, the average student doesn’t have a clue what way to go about starting in the IT industry, or even which sector to focus their retraining program on.

How likely is it for us to understand what is involved in a particular job when it’s an alien environment to us? Maybe we don’t know someone who works in that sector anyway.

To come through this, we need to discuss many definitive areas:

* Personality factors and interests – the sort of working tasks please or frustrate you.

* Why you want to consider moving into computing – maybe you want to overcome a particular goal like working for yourself for example.

* Is your income higher on your wish list than other factors.

* Considering the huge variation that IT encapsulates, it’s obvious you’ll need to be able to understand how they differ.

* Taking a cold, hard look at how much time and effort that you’re going to put into it.

For most people, considering these areas requires a good chat with a professional that has direct industry experience. Not only the accreditations – you also need to understand the commercial requirements besides.

Very few people are successful at stock trading. There are various factors that can influence the success or failure of a stock market investor. If you want to keep on making big money, there are several things that you can do. What are these things? First of all, you need to know more about money management. You will be making a certain sized investment for stock trading and so you need to learn how to manage it well.

Your trading money must be handled properly. All traders have to have sound ways to guarantee success in stock trading. Without them, all your trading will be just fair to middling guesswork and you will more than likely endure great loses. For successful trading, you have to fix the account size and answer questions like: Is your trading system profitable? By how much? What is the risk for every share deal?

In order to gain profit, you will need to know your exit strategy? Your investment choice determines how long you can remain in the stock market to join in stock trading. Skilful investors don’t really need huge investments because they already have adequate knowledge about how to trade wisely. It is possible to enter the stock market with only a relatively small amount of investment capital, but you will need to control the risks involved in each deal.

You have to ensure that the risk is always less than 3% for every trade you make. For example, if your account is $10,000, your loss per trade must lower than $300. Even if the account grows, you still should keep the risk at 3%. By following this rule, you can minimize your loses per trade. The system you’re using ought to be profitable, so you can not afford to lose lots of money per trade. You must be able to estimate the ‘edge’ or your system’s profit potential and if you achieve the estimated amount over a certain amount of time, then your system is a profitable one.

Your trading system should have a target percentage profit, so that you always know when you should enter and when you should leave the market. The correct placing of your instructions to the broker is also vital, in order to earn more profits. Your trading system is very important. Whenever you buy a certain stock, the risk ought to be low. Your account will keep growing if you know when to enter and exit the market for a certain stock. You must follow a trading plan with a strict set of trading strategies.

You have to make sure that you stick to your strategies quite strictly. It is vital for you to try to uncover which stocks will move to your advantage. Every stock investor has a favourite game plan or trading pattern and you must have one too. When you’re just starting out in stock trading, you ought not be a hasty investor. Take your time and study the state of the current market. You have to consider everything, even the slightest details.

If you get yourself a good broker, you will have an expert guide on how to best go about the trading process. If you want to earn more money in stocks trading, you should know how to manage money effectively. You need a decent trading system and you should make use of the different kinds of orders. Stock trading is not that difficult to understand but you should be willing to learn all the basic and some of the advanced methods, so that you can ensure continuous success. Take your time and analyse how the stock market is moving. Learn from the experts and their previous mistakes. In that way, you can better guarantee your success.

Does an MCSE appeal to you? Then it’s likely that you’ll fall into one of the following categories: You are a knowledgeable person and you need to formalise your skill set with an MCSE certification. In contrast you might be just about to enter commercial IT, but it’s apparent to you there is a great need for people with the right qualifications.

We’d recommend you prove conclusively that your training company is actually training you on the latest Microsoft editions. A number of trainees have come unstuck when they find that they’ve been studying for an out-of-date syllabus which now needs updating.

A company’s mission statement must be based upon doing the absolute best they can for their trainees, and they should be passionate about their results. Career study isn’t just about passing exams – it should initially look at helping you to decide on the best action plan for your future.

Accredited exam preparation packages are a must – and really must be sought from your training provider.

Some students can get thrown by practicing questions for their exams that aren’t recognised by authorised sources. Sometimes, the terminology in the real exams can be quite different and you should be prepared for this.

Obviously, it is vital to know that you’ve thoroughly prepared for the real exam prior to doing it. Going over mock-up tests helps build your confidence and saves you time and money on wasted exam attempts.

Don’t put too much store, as can often be the case, on the training process. Training is not an end in itself; this is about gaining commercial employment. Begin and continue with the end in mind.

You may train for one year and then end up performing the job-role for decades. Don’t make the mistake of taking what may be a program of interest to you only to waste your life away with a job you hate!

You’ll want to understand what industry will expect from you. Which particular certifications they’ll want you to gain and how to gain experience. It’s also worth spending time thinking about how far you think you’ll want to go as it will force you to choose a particular set of exams.

Before setting out on a particular training programme, it makes sense to chat over the exact job requirements with an experienced industry advisor, in order to be sure the learning program covers all that is required.

A number of trainees think that the traditional school, college or university track is still the most effective. So why are qualifications from the commercial sector beginning to overtake it?

Vendor-based training (as it’s known in the industry) is far more effective and specialised. The IT sector has acknowledged that such specialised knowledge is what’s needed to service the demands of an acceleratingly technical marketplace. Microsoft, CompTIA, CISCO and Adobe are the key players in this arena.

They do this through focusing on the actual skills required (together with a proportionate degree of background knowledge,) instead of covering masses of the background ‘extras’ that degrees in computing often do – to pad out the syllabus.

Think about if you were the employer – and you needed to take on someone with a very particular skill-set. Which is the most straightforward: Go through reams of different degrees and college qualifications from several applicants, trying to establish what they know and which workplace skills have been attained, or choose a specific set of accreditations that perfectly fit your needs, and then select who you want to interview from that. The interview is then more about the person and how they’ll fit in – rather than on the depth of their technical knowledge.

Throw out the typical salesman that recommends a training program without an in-depth conversation to gain understanding of your current abilities and also your experience level. Always check they have access to a expansive choice of training products so they can solve your training issues.

With a bit of live experience or some accreditation, your starting-point of learning is not the same as someone new to the industry.

If this is going to be your initial crack at studying to take an IT exam then you may want to begin with a user-skills course first.

Every college has its own ways for prospective students to pay for their college education. The FAFSA financial aid system is one of the better methods that you can get the aid that you require.

Every college has its own ways for prospective students to pay for their college education. The FAFSA financial aid system is one of the best methods that you can get the help that you require.

To receive this aid you must fill out the FAFSA form that comes with the aid package. Prior to filling this form out, you will need to read the package conditions and terms in full.

You should ask for assistance with any details that you have difficulty with. You should be able to get this help from your school counsellor. The FAFSA web site will provide you with the information you need to have. In addition you will find many useful links, which will show you examples of the documents that you will need to have when you are filling out the FAFSA form for financial aid.

You may come across other financial packages that you think offer better terms for the financial aid, but, it is always imperative to compare these packages closely with that of the FAFSA financial aid package.

Before, you start completing the FAFSA form, you should make sure that you have all the relevant documentation to hand that is required by the FAFSA form. These documents are mainly used to ascertain the sincerity of your need for financial aid for college. You will also need an adult (usually your parents or guardian) to read the section of the FAFSA form that relates specifically to them.

You will be able to get hold of a copy of the FAFSA form very easily. These forms are available in online and pre-printed formats. You can get a copy of the form from several places, eg the financial aid office of every college or university will have copies of these forms for you to take away.

Your high school should also have these FAFSA forms and any information you may require. You can ask to receive a FAFSA form on 1-800-4-FED -AID. The forms are available at your local library as well. These are the locations where you will find the printed versions of the FAFSA form. The online version is available from their web site.

If you use the online method of submitting your FAFSA form, you will receive some great benefits. These benefits include getting your student aid report more quickly than by using the paper version. You will also know if there are any errors in your application form at once. The final benefit that you will receive is the knowledge that you are helping the federal government to save money.

Since all student loans have associated records kept of the money that you use, you will need to have some way of re-paying these loans. The FAFSA form will provide you with the information you need to see about re-paying your student loan in a timely and efficient way.

Most people’s response to this question will depend on how they use their “plastic friend” as credit cards are often known. As many people with huge credit card debts will tell you, they didn’t realize that things were so bad until too late, because most credit card companies try so hard to make themselves seem like a charity. Well, take it from me, they aren’t.

And this is not a hate campaign against credit cards. They have their uses – in America if you want to rent a car, you have got to have a (major) credit card. But, consider this scenario:

You get an offer in the post that sounds great, perhaps it’s a new television or refrigerator. But it costs $2,000. You have a credit card with a $5,000 limit, so you go out and buy the product right away. Often, this is how your repayment schedule will work out. Most credit cards charge a minimum percentage of the remaining balance (typically 2 percent) per month. Assuming the interest rate is 18 percent and you choose to repay the minimum amount of $40, $30 of that will go towards interest and only $10 will come off the $2,000 you borrowed!

Does it sound worrying? Well, it doesn’t need to be. The moral of the tale is to use the credit card very, very carefully.

Credit Cards Dos and Don’ts

There is a lot of truth in the advice that credit cards are not a substitute for not having money. Every time you use a credit card this should be the theme song playing in your head. Moreover, you would do good to remember the following too:

Dos.

1] Always plan for the purchases that you have to have and those that you only want. You need the essentials, but you just want everything else. The ability to differentiate could help you plan wisely.

2] If you are caught up in financial difficulties, it’s always a good idea to talk to the credit card supplier who might adjust your payments. If you simply default, that only helps to build up a bad credit history and you might find yourself being denied credit in the future.

3] Unless it is an emergency, remaining within your credit limits will help you a great deal. If you must spend over the limit, ensure you are within manageable levels, say within 30 percent.

4] If your letterbox is chock-full of information on credit cards with more favourable deals than you are currently enjoying, you could always approach your issuer for a better deal. They want to keep you as a customer, so they will listen.

Don’ts

1] Do not use your credit card to purchase household items. It is very expensive in the long term.

2] Do not just pay the minimum amount. You will end up paying exorbitant amounts of interest. The quicker you are able to clear the debt the better.

3] Do not use the credit card to buy things you can’t afford.

Just ten percent of adults in Great Britain are happy with what they do for a living. Of course, most will take no action. The fact that you’re reading this surely suggests that you’ve realised change must come.

We suggest that you discuss your ideas first – talk to someone who’s familiar with your chosen field; an advisor who can get to the bottom of what you’ll like in a job, and offer only the learning programs which will get you there:

* Do you see yourself dealing with people? Would that be with a small ‘tightly-knit’ team or with a lot of new people? Maybe working on your own with your own methodology may be your preference?

* Building and Banking are not coping well at the moment, so think carefully about the sector that would suit you best?

* Is this the last time you imagine you’ll re-train, and if it is, will this new career give you scope to do that?

* Would you like your training course to be in an area where you believe you’ll remain employable until your pension kicks in?

The biggest industry in the UK that fulfils the above criteria is Information Technology. There is a requirement for greater numbers of qualified staff in IT, simply have a look at a local jobsite and you will find them yourself. Don’t let people tell you it’s only geeky nerds sitting in front ofscreens all day – there’s a lot more to it than that. Large numbers of the people in the computer industry are just like you and me, and they have very interesting and well paid jobs.

If you’re considering a training academy that still provides ‘in-centre’ days as a feature of their programme, then take note of these problems experienced by almost all students:

* Lots of round journeys – often hundreds of miles each and every time.

* Asking for frequent time off work – many training providers will only provide availability during weekdays – typically grouping 2 or 3 days together. This is generally difficult for those of us who work for a living, and it’s made more problematic if you include the travel time on top.

* And let’s not overlook lost vacation time. Most of us have 4 weeks annual leave. If at least half is sacrificed to learning, then it doesn’t leave much for us and our families.

* Because of the cost involved, a lot of schools really push the size of the class – certainly not ideal (and much less personal).

* Workshop pace – workshops usually consist of students of varied skill, consequently tension can run high between students with more background knowledge and the ones who need a little longer.

* Let’s not disregard the added expense of driving or bed and breakfast for the night either. This may well run to many hundreds of pounds more – sometimes thousands. Take some time to add it all up – it’ll shock and surprise you.

* You should never risk the chance of letting yourself be overlooked for a lift up the ladder or pay-rises because you’re getting trained in a different area.

* We all find that, at times, it’s uncomfortable to raise questions when surrounded by other students – who wants to look like they’re the only one who doesn’t get it?

* For students working away from home occasionally, you face the added difficulty that events are now difficult to get to – but unfortunately, the fees were paid along with everything else at the start.

Doesn’t it make a lot more sense to learn when it’s convenient for you – not the company – and exploit videos of instructors with interactive virtual-lab’s.

Think… If you’ve got a notebook PC you have the ability to learn in any location you choose. And 24×7 support is an online click away if you hit challenges.

It really doesn’t matter how often you would like to re-take a quiz or test, on-screen teachers can never get frustrated with you! And don’t forget, with this method, note-taking is gone forever. Everything is already there for you.

Could it get any simpler: No wasted time or money, travelling is avoided; and you end up with a more comfortable study setting.

Potential Students hoping to begin an IT career often have no idea of which route is best, or what area to build their qualifications around.

Flicking through a list of odd-sounding and meaningless job titles is next to useless. Most of us don’t really appreciate what our next-door neighbours do at work each day – so what chance do we have in understanding the intricacies of a specific IT job.

Arriving at the right conclusion will only come from a meticulous analysis of several varying key points:

* Which type of person you consider yourself to be – what kind of jobs you really enjoy, plus of course – what you definitely don’t enjoy.

* Are you aiming to pull off a specific aim – for instance, working from home as quickly as possible?

* Your earning needs you may have?

* Considering the huge variation that computing covers, it’s a requirement that you can understand how they differ.

* It’s wise to spend some time thinking about what kind of effort and commitment you’ll put into your training.

For the average person, getting to the bottom of each of these concepts tends to require the help of a professional who can explain things properly. And we don’t just mean the qualifications – but also the commercial requirements and expectations also.

Am I professing that IT training and careers within IT are the be-all and end-all of futures on this planet? God forbid, no. Where would we all be without the highly paid football stars who entertain us so well on a week by week basis? But there has to be a reason why increasing numbers of people are studying for careers within the IT industry.

An interesting development has been the increase in IT training for those people who are seeking a career change or an enhancement to their existing skill sets. In reviewing this, I’m curious as to why IT continues to offer the attraction, and is this option really viable?

Whilst we all accept that in relationships, people and key elements can change. A boyfriend or girlfriend at the age of 10 is often considered a cute thing, but not expected to last. Relationships at the age of 18-20 are often less transient, but again have a higher rate of short-term lifespan than others later in life.

Equally our young people are asked to plan and make decisions about their working career quite early on in life, and yet historically there appears to be an inherent resistance to change as times progresses. If we accept that life changes, and we also accept that circumstances change, surely it’s prudent for us to accept that career paths should and could change?

The continued dependence of modern society on IT, and IT related factors, leads many people to assume that a career in this field would be reliable and well paid, based on simple economics of supply and demand. Many people see a direct transfer of how they utilise IT systems in a social environment (such as playing games and social interaction on the internet e.g. facebook etc.) into a career. Is this a genuine realism of a career within IT, and what factors would actually lead towards a successful career?

I would suggest that a key element in answering this is acknowledging that a career in IT is as dependent on factors such as an employer (or client base if self-employed,) and economic circumstances, as any other career path. There is, however considerable evidence to show that professional IT personnel can move between employers and industry sectors more freely, due to the great dependence on IT services across both geographic and industry models.

The term ‘Professional IT People’ is one of the key elements here – as in any other industry, employers have consistently sought staff where the skills can be proven by both experience and a recognised, approved benchmark. This is the same whether that’s a degree, or recognised apprenticeship culminating in an industry standard qualification, like an electrician or plumber.

The IT industry is no different. Just because many people have access to a computer at home, and can experience many factors of the IT industry in a refined environment, this is in many cases vastly different from the skills and resources required in the commercial sector. I’m sure we’d all agree that spending four hours a night playing games or surfing the internet doesn’t make us a qualified games designer, or a qualified webmaster.

Professional qualifications within the IT field such as MCSE or MCSA are immediately recognisable as an industry standard. Employers can rely upon the skills offered, and as such there is a reduced risk of breach of commercial insurance policies for work and services provided by such people, whether they are self-employed or directly employed.

If you’re seriously considering a future within the IT industry, you must look at how best to position yourself to become attractive to an employer. Holding a professional qualification goes a long way towards this. We should at least be aware of what the employer or client is looking for in recruitment or engagement, as they are the ones paying the salary.

Data exists in abundance to support the view that the growth in the IT sector is more resilient and faster than many other industry sectors. We’re experiencing a transitional shift in industry sectors, from the first world through to the third world. The rate at which many growing or ‘tiger’ economies are embracing and adapting to long standing IT systems is very fast indeed.

Up to now in this article we’ve looked at the trends, which with the slow down and in some cases demise of traditional industry (and therefore traditional job-for-life expectancies), there will be an increasing propensity towards several jobs and career paths over our lifetime.

Furthermore we’ve noted that the IT industry remains consistently attractive as it provides both consistencies in supply and demand, across industry sectors and across geographical boundaries. Current forecasts also predict the increasing long-term reliance on IT systems overall, and the professional people that develop, utilise and maintain those systems remain integral to many organisations long-term requirements.

Expectations for salaries continue to be high within this field, and plenty of evidence suggests that this is achievable. However, it is worth noting that the top-people get paid the top-money in many other industries. It’s not good enough to simply ‘be there’ and does not guarantee the top-money.

We’ve also argued the case that employers view recruitment for IT skills as no different to any other facet of their business. They expect the individuals to formally demonstrate their skills and qualifications, in exactly the same way as they expect their accountants and electricians to be professionally qualified to do the work they’re employed to do.

It’s my belief that there is considerable evidence to view a career in IT as a strong and viable option for many people in today’s economic and social climate. Significant salaries are definitely achievable. And yet, it’s equally clear and only common sense to expect to have to gain a recognisable professional IT qualification. This not only clearly demonstrate one’s own ability, but at the very least it displays the attitude that your prospective employer can rely on you in the commercial field and that you are serious about this career path.

Look in any bookshop at their Best Seller list today, and you'll see a mass of autobiographies of the rich and famous.

Look in any bookshop at their Best Seller list today, and you’ll see a mass of autobiographies of the rich and famous. From empire builders to glamour models to footballers, they all tell a different story, but each has a thread in common – they focused on the positives and overcame adversity.

That is the way of the world; to achieve in life we must allow positive reasons why ‘we can’ to flood our consciousness, and drown out negative reasons why we can’t.

For the student, this attitude to studying is paramount. To successfully complete a training program, the biggest tool in a trainee’s workbox is a positive mindset. An optimistic approach brings about all sorts of possibilities, circumstances, answers and opportunities to achieve. By contrast, a negative outlook thwarts creativity and blocks our learning receptors.

This is because of our Reticular Activation System – a mechanism that automatically tells our brain what to focus on. Over our lives, we’ve experienced a huge number things that no longer remain in the forefront of our minds – the majority of what we’ve learned moves from our conscious mind to our sub-conscious mind, a kind of cupboard that stores all our past beliefs and knowledge.

When we consciously attempt to do something, our Reticular Activation System (RAS) will search the sub-conscious mind for any relevant information it holds, and bring it to our attention. If we’re walking down a street, we’re only made aware of things that have meaning to us – the rest is just background noise.

Therefore, if our conscious mind has generally been transferring positive, upbeat messages to our sub-conscious mind, then that’s what it will send back. But if our sub-conscious has been fed a bunch of defeatist, downbeat messages, then equally that’s also what will come back.

It appears that achievers can manipulate the messages going through to their sub-conscious minds by deliberately programming their RAS, and selecting the exact messages the conscious mind transfers. For achieving goals this makes it an essential tool, because the sub-conscious mind can’t distinguish between real or imaginary events.

In other words, as it believes what it’s told, we need to create a very specific picture of our goal in our conscious mind. The RAS will then pass this on to our subconscious – which will then help us achieve the goal. It does this by bringing to our attention all the relevant information which otherwise might have remained as ‘background noise’.

The writer Napoleon Hill said that we can achieve any realistic goal if we keep focusing on that goal, and stop dwelling on any negative thoughts about it. Obviously, if we keep thinking that we can’t hit a goal, our subconscious will help us not to achieve it.

Should you be looking for Microsoft certified training, it stands to reason you'll want training organisations to offer a wide range of the best training programs available today.

Should you be looking for Microsoft certified training, it stands to reason you’ll want training organisations to offer a wide range of the best training programs available today.

It’s a good idea to have a chat about jobs with an advisor – and if you’re uncertain, then take counsel on what kind of IT job would be right for you, based on your personality and ability level.

When you’ve chosen your career path, you’ll need a relevant course matched to your ability level and skill set. The quality of training ought to be of an excellent standard.

It’s important to understand: the training course or the accreditation is not the ultimate goal; the job or career that you’re getting the training for is. Many trainers unfortunately completely prioritise the piece of paper.

It’s a sad fact, but thousands of new students commence training that sounds great in the sales literature, but which provides the end-result of a job that is of no interest at all. Just ask several college leavers for examples.

You’ll want to understand what expectations industry may have of you. What certifications they will want you to have and how you’ll go about getting some commercial experience. Spend some time setting guidelines as to how far you reckon you’re going to want to build your skill-set as it may present a very specific set of certifications.

Before you embark on a particular learning program, it’s good advice to chat over individual career requirements with an industry professional, to be absolutely sure the learning course covers all that is required.

OK, why should we consider qualifications from the commercial sector as opposed to the usual academic qualifications obtained from schools, colleges or universities?

With university education costs spiralling out of control, together with the IT sector’s general opinion that accreditation-based training is often far more commercially relevant, there’s been a big surge in Adobe, Microsoft, CISCO and CompTIA based training programmes that provide key skills to an employee for considerably less.

Of course, a certain amount of background detail must be learned, but precise specialisation in the particular job function gives a vendor trained person a huge edge.

It’s a bit like the TV advert: ‘It does what it says on the tin’. All an employer has to do is know where they have gaps, and then request applicants with the correct exam numbers. Then they’re assured that a potential employee can do exactly what’s required.

Does job security honestly exist anywhere now? In the UK for example, where business constantly changes its mind on a day-to-day basis, we’d question whether it does.

In times of increasing skills shortages mixed with escalating demand though, we often find a new kind of market-security; where, fuelled by conditions of continuous growth, businesses find it hard to locate enough staff.

The 2006 United Kingdom e-Skills analysis brought to light that twenty six percent of all IT positions available cannot be filled because of a chronic shortage of properly qualified workers. Essentially, we only have the national capacity to fill 3 out of 4 positions in the computer industry.

Attaining full commercial computing accreditation is thus a ‘Fast Track’ to realise a continuing as well as enjoyable line of work.

Surely, now really is such a perfect time to consider retraining into the computer industry.

Don’t listen to any salesman that pushes one particular program without a decent chat so as to understand your abilities plus your experience level. They should be able to select from a generous array of training from which they could provide you with what’s right for you.

Where you have a strong background, or maybe some live experience (maybe some existing accreditation?) then it could be that your starting point will be quite dissimilar from a student that is completely new to the industry.

Opening with a foundation module first may be the ideal way to start into your IT studies, depending on your current skill level.
